I haven’t really been feeling very deep lately.
We’re all trying to get someplace. When we meet new people, our questions are usually about “Where do you live?” or “What do you do?” We don’t really ask “Who are you?” Or even more importantly, “Who are you becoming?”
Rushing doesn’t allow time to mentally finish one thing or prepare for the next.
God is active in the world. And unfortunately, so is evil. Good is always at odds with evil in the world. We can see this with our own eyes. It mirrors the battle that rages within us. And the battle we cannot see.
But maybe sometimes the way is meant to be still.
