On the sabbath day we went outside the gate by the river, where we supposed there was a place of prayer; and we sat down and spoke to the women who had gathered there. – Acts 16:13 (CEB)
I enjoy worshipping in new communities. I think you begin to really appreciate the Body of Christ when you find it in the many places you travel. Although the liturgy or order of worship differs from church to church, we hold in common our worship of the Triune God. While my family tries to find a worshipping community in the places we travel, sometimes it just doesn’t work out. Since we will be traveling during Holy Week, I put together “Worship to Go” for us to worship together if we don’t find a local church.
I’ve added these worship services on a new page called Worship to Go.
May you walk with Jesus this Holy Week and join him in his resurrection to life on Easter.
Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens,a you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. Psalm 139:7-10 (NRSV)
